- My flight is late — what happens?
- We monitor the flight and tell the driver: you don't have to do anything, though a message from you always helps. Thirty minutes of waiting from the actual landing time are included; beyond that, waiting costs €60 for each hour or part of an hour. It is not a penalty of ours: it is the driver's time, and in those hours he cannot do anything else. If the flight is cancelled we look for the best solution with him, without being able to promise there always is one.
- Where do we meet?
- At the airport your driver waits at the arrivals exit with a sign showing your name. At a station, at the head of the platform or in front of the main entrance, as written on your voucher. At a hotel or apartment, at the door — and in the Cinque Terre villages, at the closest point a car can reach, which we tell you in advance.
- When do I get the driver's name and number?
- The day before departure you receive the driver's name, the vehicle, the plate and a direct contact. Until then your reference is our emergency number, staffed around the clock: a vehicle can still be swapped until the last moment, and we would rather give you a certain detail than a provisional one.
- Can we eat in the car?
- No, there is no eating on board: it is the rule that lets us promise you the same clean car we promise everyone else. If you are hungry, the driver will gladly make a short motorway stop and it costs nothing. If you want to stop for a proper lunch, the stop is booked: one or two hours, charged as an intermediate stop.
- We travel with children — what about car seats?
- Tell us the age and the weight of each child when you book: it is the only way to bring the right seat — infant carrier, child seat or booster depend on weight, not on age. Some drivers include them, others charge for them: whatever it costs is written on your voucher before departure, never after.
- Can I bring my dog?
- Often yes, but ask beforehand: it depends on the driver and the vehicle. Tell us when you book, with the size, and we confirm. A pet that turns up as a surprise at departure is the quickest way not to travel.
- Can I ask for a stop along the way?
- Yes, and it is better to ask in advance so we put it on the voucher at the agreed price: €60 for each hour or part of an hour. Asked during the journey, it depends on the driver's later commitments — he often has another client after you.
